Everyone went to Little India today. We were guided by a tour guide and learnt lots of things about Indian culture. After we boarded the school bus, the tour guide introduced herself and talked about what we were going to do after alighting the bus. When we reached our destination, Little India was raining. We learnt about the Indians' culture and found it interesting. Along the way during the learning journey, we ate some Indian delicacies. They tasted so good!
After that, we walked our way through stalls, some stalls were selling accessories, postcards, keychains, pens, peacock feathers, food, and some offered to do Henna! After gaining some information about Little India, the tour guide announced that she would let us go for shopping. She said that by 11.45pm, she wanted everyone to gather at the meeting point. Some of our classmates went to do Henna, and some went for shopping spree.
After 45 minutes of shopping, we gathered at our meeting point at head to the school bus. On the school bus, the tour guide created a game. Boys VS. Girls, see which group(boys/girls) was more attentive during our trip in Little India. When the game ended, the boys got 2 points, and the girls got 6 points.(I think) The girls won and they cheered. When we reached Little India, everyone went for their Mother Tongue lesson.
It was a great experience in Little India for everyone in 6 Joy.
